Photo Art is original photography by ClaraXenia, made to be lived with rather than only looked at. Every image begins as a real photograph, taken intuitively — drawn to light, shadow, reflections and the small movements that reveal a hidden story.

Some images are abstract and open to interpretation. Others reveal their story more directly. Each one is then carried in two directions: framed as Wall Art, and printed on pieces you wear.

ClaraXenia is the photographer behind the visual universe of Intention, and one of its two founders. Her work begins intuitively — drawn to the beauty of imperfect moments and the quiet presence of what often goes unnoticed.

She photographs in the flow of attention to life, in places and encounters around the world, working in both black and white and colour, between analogue and digital. Originally trained in the traditional darkroom, she kept the respect it teaches for the moment — waiting for an image to appear slowly in the chemical bath.

Intention is based in Copenhagen.

A Word of Intention is a simple reminder of how you want to move through life. Each word stands for a mindset — from Presence to Abundance — and is written by hand before it becomes part of a piece.

It is not advice, and not something to achieve. It is something to return to.

Both, depending on the piece. On t-shirts the word is printed discreetly inside the neck, so only you know it is there. On select hoodies and sweatshirts it is expressed boldly on the back. The Photo Art sits on the front either way.

Each product page states which of the two that piece carries, and the shop has a collection for each, so you can browse by placement if the choice matters to you.

Every Intention piece is made to order. Your garment or print is produced after you order it, in the design, size and colour you chose. Intention holds no inventory, so nothing is produced that nobody asked for.

It means a short wait. It also means no overproduction.

Production takes 1 to 3 business days and begins shortly after purchase. Delivery then takes a further 5 to 14 days, depending on your destination and the carrier network handling the last part of the route.

These are estimates, not guarantees. Weather, public holidays and carrier capacity can move them.

An Intention order can be changed or cancelled only before production starts, and that window is short — your piece begins being made almost immediately. Write to support@intentioncph.com as soon as you can and we will do whatever is still possible.

Once an order is in production or has shipped, it cannot be cancelled. This does not affect your right of withdrawal after delivery.

Intention ships, and checks out in local currency, to eight markets: Denmark, the European Union, the United Kingdom, Norway, Sweden, Poland, Switzerland and the United States.

If your country is not on that list you can still look around, but checkout is not available yet.

No. What you can order depends on which market you are shopping from.

• Denmark, the European Union, Norway, Sweden, Poland and Switzerland — the full range: t-shirts, long sleeves, hoodies, sweatshirts, beanies, tote bags, phone cases, framed Wall Art and gift cards.
• United Kingdom — the same range, except long sleeves, which are not available in the UK.
• United States — framed Photo Art, phone cases and gift cards. Apparel is not available in the US yet.

Anything not available in your market simply will not appear in the shop when you are browsing from there.

Yes. Two pieces take 15% off, three or more take 25% off. It applies automatically in the cart — there is no code to enter and nothing to remember.

The discount covers Words of Intention, Wall Art and Accessories, and the pieces do not have to match. Two different words, or a framed print and a hoodie, count just the same.

No. Intention prices include tax and orders ship Delivered Duty Paid, so nothing should be added on delivery. For US orders, sales tax is calculated at checkout from your shipping address.

If a carrier charges you something anyway, send the paperwork to support@intentioncph.com and we will sort it out.

You are charged in the currency of your own market, and the price shown already includes VAT where it applies. The full amount, with tax as its own line, is shown at checkout before you confirm.

Customers in the EU and the UK have 14 days from delivery to withdraw from the purchase, for any reason, on any product. Tell us within those 14 days — through the Return Portal or at returns@intentioncph.com — then send the item back within 14 days of telling us.

• Apparel, tote bags and accessories — your first return on an order is free, with a prepaid label. Further returns on the same order are at your cost.
• Framed Wall Art and phone cases — if you change your mind, return postage is at your cost. The Return Portal gives you the address before you send anything.
• The Intention Archives (restocked pieces) — at your cost. There are no free return labels on restocked pieces.
• Anything damaged, defective or incorrect — always on us, in every category.

Tell us within 30 days of delivery and add a photo. We ship a free replacement or refund you in full, and you do not need to send anything back. Keep it, give it away, or recycle it.

This is our Satisfaction Guarantee. It sits on top of your legal rights and never replaces them — including the 2-year legal guarantee covering faults present at delivery.

Intention does not offer direct exchanges. Because every piece is made after it is ordered, there is no shelf to swap from. Return the one you have and place a new order in the size you want.

Every Intention product page carries a Find My Size guide with the measurements for that exact garment — body length and half chest, size by size. There is also a full Size Guides page.

Cuts differ. A fitted t-shirt and an oversized t-shirt are not the same garment under a different name, so read the guide for the piece you are actually looking at. It is the simplest way to avoid a return.

• Cotton — organically grown and GOTS-certified, or organic in-conversion cotton from farms completing the transition to certified organic.
• Recycled fibres — the recycled-blend hoodies and sweatshirts combine cotton with GRS-certified recycled polyester.
• Paper and frames — FSC-certified paper, wooden frames, shatterproof plexiglass.

Production runs through a network of print partners, and your order is made at the hub nearest your address whenever possible, so it travels a shorter distance.

Yes. Intention gift cards come in seven amounts, in your own currency, and arrive by email. They do not expire, and any unspent balance stays on the card for next time.
