The characters in our pictures

Intention Cast

Meet the thirteen characters who wear our pieces in our pictures. None of them is real. We made them with AI, gave them names, jobs and hometowns, and put them all here so you always know who you are looking at.

Invented, named, and pleased to meet you.

Drawn by us

Why AI characters? Everything we sell is made to order, so there is no pile of samples to photograph. Every style and design is carefully created, test ordered and approved by ClaraXenia and Nils before it goes live. To show you each piece on a person in the best possible way, we made some awesome AI characters.

They know they're characters, and they're totally fine with it. They don't shop, they don't write reviews, they just wear it well.

Each of them dreams of a different city by the water, because Intention starts in Copenhagen and loves to travel.

Spot one of them in a picture and you'll see a small AI CAST mark in the corner. No secrets here.

Questions

About the cast

Are these real people?
No. Every person on this page was made with AI. None of them exists, and none of them has ever stood in front of a camera. They do all have very good hair, though. But yours is real.
Do any of them ever speak?
Now and then, and you will always know it is a character talking. They are honest about it too. Ebbe would put it like this: "If I could wear the hoodie, I would pick the oversized one and never take it off. I can't, so I just look the part." They never review anything, recommend anything or pretend to be a customer. Every word on this site in a customer's voice comes from a real person. And every line the cast says is read and approved by Nils and ClaraXenia before it goes up, so nobody here embarrasses themselves.
Why use AI characters instead of real models?
We like the old and the new side by side. The Photo Art on every piece is real: ClaraXenia's own photographs, taken out in the real world. The characters wearing the pieces in our pictures are made with AI. That way we don't fly models, crews and boxes of samples around the world for a photo shoot, and more of our time goes into the pieces themselves.
How do I know which pictures are generated?
Look in the bottom right corner. A picture with one of the cast in it carries a small AI CAST mark. A generated scene that shows one of our pieces carries AI CREATED. Our AI Policy explains both. Photo Art is always a real photograph by ClaraXenia, so it needs no mark.
Will my piece look like the picture?
Yes. Every style and design is test ordered and checked by ClaraXenia and Nils, and every AI picture is made to be true to the real piece in look, feel and fit. Your piece is made to order at the production hub nearest you, so we can't check every single order by hand. If anything arrives damaged, faulty or wrong, we replace it free of charge. Our returns page has the details.
Can the cast tell me how a piece fits?
They would love to, but none of them has ever actually worn anything. For the real answer we have better helpers. Find my size, on every clothing page, helps you pick your size. The size guides give the measurements of every piece. For Wall Art, Find My Art Size and See It in My Room show you how a print looks on a wall. A virtual fitting room is on its way. And if you get stuck, ask Iris, our shopping guide in the corner of the page.
