The work

Photo Art is original photography by ClaraXenia, made to be lived with rather than only looked at. Every image begins as a real photograph, taken intuitively, drawn to light, shadow, reflections and the small movements that reveal a hidden story.

Some images are abstract and open to interpretation. Others reveal their story more directly. Each one is then carried in two directions: framed as Wall Art, and carried on pieces you wear.

ClaraXenia is the photographer behind the visual universe of Intention, and one of its two founders. Her work begins intuitively, drawn to the beauty of imperfect moments and the quiet presence of what often goes unnoticed.

She photographs in the flow of attention to life, in places and encounters around the world, working in both black and white and colour, between analogue and digital. Originally trained in the traditional darkroom, she kept the respect it teaches for the moment, waiting for an image to appear slowly in the chemical bath.

Intention is based in Copenhagen.

A Word of Intention is a simple reminder of how you want to move through life. Each word stands for a mindset, from Presence to Abundance, and is written by hand before it becomes part of a piece.

It is not advice, and not something to achieve. It is something to return to.

Both, depending on the piece. On t-shirts the word sits discreetly inside the neck, so only you know it is there. On select hoodies and sweatshirts it is expressed boldly on the back. The Photo Art sits on the front either way.

Each product page states which of the two that piece carries, and the shop has a collection for each, so you can browse by placement if the choice matters to you.

A short quiz guides you there. A few simple questions, and it returns the words that resonate with you right now, together with the pieces that carry them. Start it on the Your Word of Intention page.

You can also read every word on the Words of Intention page and simply choose the one you recognise.

Intention Frequencies

Every Word of Intention carries a frequency, and the frequency is real. The space between the ground and the ionosphere rings at a set of measured frequencies called the Schumann resonances, the first of them at 7.83 Hz. Those numbers are physics, and anyone with the right instrument can read them.

Each Word is paired to one of those measured frequencies by hand. The measurement is the Earth's. The pairing is ours, and we say so openly.

The note mark means the frequency, the way the quill means the Word and the camera means Photo Art. More on Intention Frequencies.

Half of it is measurement and half of it is ours, and we keep the two clearly apart.

The Schumann resonances are measured physics. They are the frequencies at which the cavity between the Earth's surface and the ionosphere resonates, predicted in 1952 and read by instruments ever since. The first sits at 7.83 Hz.

The pairing between a Word and one of those frequencies is a choice we made by hand, guided by what each Word already means on its own page. It is ours, we are glad to own it, and we present it as exactly that. We write about how a frequency sits alongside a Word, and we leave claims about the body to medicine.

Yes. All thirty five Words have a recording of their own: the Word spoken once, over music, with its measured tone running underneath.

The sounds are arriving across the site now, and Intention Frequencies is the page that gathers them.

Intention Cycles

Intention Cycles keeps time with the moon rather than with the working week. A cycle opens on the dark moon and runs a little over twenty nine days, and each cycle holds one Word of Intention.

Four posts carry that Word, one at each quarter of the moon. Thirteen cycles carry thirteen Words, and that run lands a few weeks past a calendar year.

The current cycle, its Word and its dates are always shown on Intention Cycles.

Because the moon keeps its own interval. One lunar cycle runs about twenty nine and a half days, so thirteen of them fit into a little more than a year.

A cycle opens at the dark moon, the point where the moon passes between us and the sun so its lit side is turned away and for two or three nights there is nothing in the sky to find. It is the one marker in the cycle you locate by absence rather than by looking up, which makes it a fair place to set a Word down before anything has happened to it.

It also means the dates walk forward against the working week, because the moon keeps one interval and the calendar keeps another.

Four, one at each quarter of the moon.

  • The Word Arrives, at the dark moon. The Word is set down plainly, with nothing asked of you.
  • Staying With It, at the first quarter. Where holding the Word gets difficult, named and stayed with.
  • At Full Strength, at the full moon. Where the Word shows rather than argues, led by ClaraXenia's image.
  • Putting It Down, at the last quarter. The shortest of the four. It closes rather than concludes.

Each one is described in full on Intention Cycles.

Made to order

Every Intention piece is made to order. Your garment or print is produced after you order it, in the design, size and colour you chose. Intention holds no inventory, so nothing is produced that nobody asked for.

It means a short wait. It also means no overproduction.

Most Intention orders arrive within 11 days of ordering, and often sooner. That is measured end to end, from the moment you order to the moment it is delivered, so it already includes the 1 to 3 days it takes to make your piece, and weekends and holidays.

How long it actually takes depends on where you are. Rather than one number for everyone, every product page shows the expected delivery dates for your own country, based on orders we have already delivered there.

These are estimates, not guarantees. Weather, public holidays and carrier capacity can move them.

A tracking link is emailed to you the moment your order ships. You can also follow the parcel at any time on our Order Tracking page.

An Intention order can be changed or cancelled only before production starts, and that window is short. Your piece begins being made almost immediately. Write to support@intentioncph.com as soon as you can and we will do whatever is still possible.

Once an order is in production or has shipped, it cannot be cancelled. This does not affect your right of withdrawal after delivery.

Ordering

Intention ships, and checks out in local currency, to eight markets: Denmark, the European Union, the United Kingdom, Norway, Sweden, Poland, Switzerland and the United States.

If your country is not on that list you can still look around, but checkout is not available yet.

No. What you can order depends on which market you are shopping from.

  • Denmark, the European Union, Norway, Sweden, Poland and Switzerland carry the full range: t-shirts, long sleeves, hoodies, sweatshirts, beanies, tote bags, phone cases, framed Wall Art and gift cards.
  • United Kingdom carries the same range, except long sleeves, which are not available in the UK.
  • United States: t-shirts, hoodies, beanies, phone cases, framed Wall Art and gift cards. Long sleeves, sweatshirts and tote bags are not available in the US yet.

Anything not available in your market simply will not appear in the shop when you are browsing from there.

Yes. Two pieces take 15% off, three or more take 25% off. It applies automatically in the cart. There is no code to enter and nothing to remember.

The discount covers Words of Intention, Wall Art and Accessories, and the pieces do not have to match. Two different words, or a framed print and a hoodie, count just the same.

Shipping is free above a set order value in every market. For apparel and accessories, and then for framed Wall Art:

  • Denmark: 499 DKK · 1,099 DKK
  • European Union: €69 · €149
  • United Kingdom: £59 · £125
  • Norway: 749 NOK · 1,599 NOK
  • Sweden: 749 SEK · 1,599 SEK
  • Poland: 299 PLN · 649 PLN
  • Switzerland: 62 CHF · 149 CHF
  • United States: $69 · $159

Below those amounts the rate depends on weight and destination, and is shown in your cart before you pay.

No. Intention prices include tax and orders ship Delivered Duty Paid, so nothing should be added on delivery. For US orders, no sales tax is added at checkout either, so the price you see is the price you pay.

If a carrier charges you something anyway, send the paperwork to support@intentioncph.com and we will sort it out.

You are charged in the currency of your own market, and the price shown already includes VAT where it applies. The full amount, with tax as its own line, is shown at checkout before you confirm.

Intention uses Shopify Payments. Checkout accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro and UnionPay, and the wallets Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

You can also pay in USDC. Local methods are available where they apply: Klarna, MobilePay, Bancontact and BLIK. Klarna is offered to individual shoppers at checkout, so it does not appear on every order.

Which methods you see depends on your country, and they are shown at checkout before you confirm. You are charged in your own market's currency.

Returns

Customers in the United States have 30 days from delivery. Customers in the EU and the UK have 14 days from delivery to withdraw from the purchase, for any reason, on any product. Tell us within those 14 days, through the Return Portal or at returns@intentioncph.com, then send the item back within 14 days of telling us.

  • Apparel, tote bags and accessories: your first return on an order is free, with a prepaid label. Further returns on the same order are at your cost.
  • Framed Wall Art and phone cases: in the United States your first return on an order is free, with a prepaid label. In the EU and the UK, if you change your mind, return postage is at your cost, and the Return Portal gives you the address before you send anything.
  • The Intention Archives (restocked pieces), at your cost. There are no free return labels on restocked pieces.
  • Anything damaged, defective or incorrect: always on us, in every category.

Tell us within 30 days of delivery and add a photo. We ship a free replacement or refund you in full, and you do not need to send anything back. Keep it, give it away, or recycle it.

This is our Satisfaction Guarantee. It sits on top of your legal rights and never replaces them, including the 2-year legal guarantee covering faults present at delivery.

Intention does not offer direct exchanges. Because every piece is made after it is ordered, there is no shelf to swap from. Return the one you have and place a new order in the size you want.

Size and materials

Every Intention product page carries a Find My Size guide with the measurements for that exact garment: body length and half chest, size by size. There is also a full Size Guides page.

Cuts differ. A fitted t-shirt and an oversized t-shirt are not the same garment under a different name, so read the guide for the piece you are actually looking at. It is the simplest way to avoid a return.

  • Cotton: organically grown, or organic in-conversion cotton from farms completing the transition to certified organic.
  • Recycled fibres: the Recycled Blend hoodies and sweatshirts combine cotton with recycled polyester.
  • Paper and frames: FSC-certified paper, wooden frames, shatterproof plexiglass.

Every piece is made to order, at the production hub nearest your address whenever possible, so it travels a shorter distance.

The exact composition of any single piece is listed on its own product page. More detail is on our Materials & Production page.

The Cast

Some of them are characters we invented, drew and wrote. Each one has a name, lives in a named city, has work of their own, and is inspired by three Words of Intention.

Every picture they appear in carries the AI CAST mark, so you always know what you are looking at. Meet them on Meet the Cast.

The cast are characters, and we present them as characters. They are never a customer, a creator or an ambassador, and they never review, rate or recommend anything.

Everything on this site written in a customer's voice was written by a real person. Real customers and real creators appear in their own words, under their own names, and stay entirely separate from the cast.

It lets a small company in Copenhagen make its own pictures, in its own world, and keep making them. ClaraXenia's photography remains the heart of Photo Art, and every one of those images begins as a real photograph she took.

Pictures featuring one of our characters carry the AI CAST mark, and you can meet them on Meet the Cast. Other AI imagery, such as scenes and mood photography, carries the AI CREATED mark. Pictures published before September 2026 carry our earlier wording, AI GENERATED.

The full position is on the AI Policy page.

Intention Circle

Intention Circle is a long-term model Intention is building, designed to turn part of the value the company creates into resources for people, ideas and projects that move the world in a more conscious, compassionate and creative direction.

Its mark is an open ring with a single dot. The ring is the work we share, the opening is what is still undone, and the dot is the person who chooses to take part. It is meant never to close.

It does not exist yet. There is no treasury, no agent and no autonomous system running today. The whole picture, including what has been done and what has not, is on The Future We Are Building.

Not today. Right now Intention Circle works in one direction: what you buy funds the company that is building it: the brand, the community, the pieces made to order, and the revenue that pays for all of it.

As Intention grows, we want part of the value we create to move through Intention Circle. How value moves outward, who decides, and how it is measured are all being designed now. No share, percentage or amount has been set, and nothing is collected as a donation.

Three things, in order. A brand that earns enough to fund the rest, and that one exists. A clear set of rules for how value leaves the company and where it goes, and that is being written. And, later, a way for those resources to create value of their own, and that is an experiment.

Two steps carry a date so far: the economic model took shape on 18 August 2026, and Intention Circle got its name and its mark on 21 August 2026. Still ahead, and deliberately undated: the first Intention Circle constitution, the agent beginning testing, and the first value created. Each is dated in Intention Circle Log only once it is done.

Intention calls this an experiment rather than a promise, because it is not yet known whether it works.

One challenge: give an AI agent the task of creating 10,000 DKK of new economic value for Intention Circle. The money may not come from donations, and it may not come from anything already promised elsewhere. It has to be value that did not exist before.

It is being designed and is not yet running, and the amount created so far is zero. Small on purpose. If it cannot work at ten thousand, it cannot work at more.

Today, by saying where you think it should move first. There is a one-answer poll on The Future We Are Building with ten directions to choose from, and a box to say why in your own words, which comes straight to mail@intentioncph.com.

Nothing is decided yet, so the answers feed into where it begins. Later, we want contributions of time, ideas and knowledge to count alongside money, and to help shape where a particular Intention moves next.
